"Jared played football at Missouri State and I played soccer there. We met at college orientation. He was in a sling from a recent rotator cuff surgery so he asked me to fill out his information form where he told me I could keep his phone number if I wanted. We didn't start dating until a year later when he texted me telling me his mom gave him an outback streakhouse gift card to take a pretty girl out and asked if I wanted to go. Being the girl that never turned down a steak dinner, I said yes!
